W.L. Miller Company will be paid over $300-thousand to do the work. The project is scheduled to begin within the next few months. Once the contractor begins, they have 77 calendar days to complete the project — by the end of October at the latest.
It will soon be easier and safer to navigate through the south shopping center in Kirksville, for both drivers and pedestrians. MoDOT and the City of Kirksville have entered into a partnership to share the cost of a project that allows new sidewalk and access improvements to be constructed along Business Route 63 from LaHarpe Street south to the El Kadir Shrine Club on the east side of the road and in front of the shopping center on the west side.
