The race for the Third District Missouri House seat will pit two former legislators, after Nate Walker makes his candidacy official this morning. A former state legislator and longtime northeast Missouri resident and businessman, Walker has emerged as the likely nominee to represent the GOP in place of Rep. Zachary Wyatt in the 3rd District Mo. House race.
He faces Democrat Rebecca McClanahan in November. Walker served in the House from 1981-85, representing Macon, Shelby, Linn and Knox counties.
