Saturday Crash Injures Two

Highway Patrol Troopers say inexperience may have played a role in the crash of an SUV driven by a 16-year old Higbee girl Saturday. The 2005 Jeep Liberty suffered minor damage when it rolled on its side in the southbound ditch of Randolph County Route A. 16-year old Isabella Richards had dropped one wheel off the right-hand side of the road, according to an online report, and over corrected. She suffered minor injuries, while her mother, 40-year old Jenifer Richards, suffered slightly worse injuries. Both were taken by Randolph county ambulance to Moberly Regional Medical Center.
