Wilson was airlifted to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, while Willison was taken to University Hospital in Columbia. Their conditions have not been released. The crash and investigation shut down the intersection for several hours.
Authorities say two people were airlifted to separate hospitals following a crash that shut down the 63 bypass around Kirksville yesterday morning. The wreck happened about 7:25am at the US63/Route 6 junction. 77-year old Judith Wilson of Kirksville, was driving a Chrysler Town and Country eastbound on Highway 6. According to Kirksville Police, she either failed to stop, or stopped and then pulled into a tractor tailer driven by Mark Willison of Columbia which was southbound on 63.
