Truman State Seniors Earn Fellowships

Truman State Seniors Erin Farmer and Tyler Young were awarded the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. Farmer is a biology major from Arma, Kan. She said she plans to attend graduate school at the University of Kansas to research molecular biology. Young is a computer science major from Kearney, Mo. He said he plans to defer graduate school at this time. This year, more than 13,000 students applied for the fellowship and 2,000 were awarded fellowships.
