High Patient Satisfaction at Northeast Regional

Northeast Regional Medical Center getting higher scores from patients. Among small hospitals around the country…only 9% had higher satisfaction scores. Among the changes…nurses now make sure they see patients at least once an hour…that has resulted in fewer falls and fewer patients ringing the buzzer for a nurse. And with each shift change…nurses are briefed at the patient’s bedside….CEO Eric Barber says the changes are working…and patients who once thought the care was not that good have changed their tunes.
