Milan Restaurant Fire Believed to be Attempted Arson

Milan authorities are calling a small fire at a restarant a case of arson. Police say early yesterday someone broke a lock on a backdoor at Gordo’s Restaurant in downtown Milan and spread an accelerant, believed to be gasoline, on the main floor. According to police, a table at the front of the business was set on fire, but the fire didn’t spread. The business had some fire damage to the front and smoke damage on the remainder of the main floor. If you have any information, pleaase call 660-265-3313.
