Schuyler Updates Addressing System to Help 911 Response

Schuyler County residents should have gotten a letter in the mail by now with their new addresses. No one’s having to move, though. It’s all part of the county’s 911 Addressing Project, which is an effort to modernize geolocation information and help emergency crews respond more quickly to incidents. The final phase was getting the U.S. Postal Service updated with the new addresses. If you live in Schuyler County and have not received a letter at your physical address, you’re asked to contact the county clerk at 457-3842.
