Governer’s Bet on World Series

The Governors have made their World Series wagers…

Missouri and New York kick off Game One of the World Series today.  Governor Jay Nixon is wagering some Kansas City barbecue ribs and a commemorative jersey from the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum on the Royals.  He’s also putting some 20th anniversary special blend coffee from the rotisserie in Kansas City and a Ford F-150 hat on the line.  If the Royals win, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo will send Governor Nixon a hat from the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, bagels from Queens, and hot Italian sausage. The losing Governor will also have to wear the winner’s jersey.
