No Charges Filed in Alleged Prostitution Bribe

Charges will not be filed in a case regarding an Iowa landowner, a pipeline agent, and a bribe. Last month during a press conference, Hughie Tweedy of Montrose said he he had recorded a land agent for the proposed Bakken Pipeline offering to get him a prostitute in exchange for granting access rights to his property for the pipeline. Tweedy said the agent made this offer three seperate times. Yesterday, an Iowa prosector announced that he will not file charges over the allegations because of lack of evidence to prosecute. When the allegations were initially made, the company, Energy Transfer Partners, said it would investigate and said the agent was working for a contractor.
