Kirksville to Conduct Traffic Study

The City of Kirksville will conduct a study to make downtown traffic safer.

The city was recently awarded an $8,000 grant from the Traffic Engineering Assistance Program from the Missouri Department of Transportation. The study will help officials determine ways to improve traffic flow into and out of the downtown square, which street improvements to prioritize, and where to change or implement traffic signs. The study will also look at parking issues in the downtown area.
