Shoppers Will Spend More This Thanksgiving Weekend.txt

Americans plan to spend 25-percent more over Thanksgiving weekend than they did last year.  A new survey from Deloitte shows Americans plan to spend 369 dollars during the biggest shopping weekend of the year.  Over half of the people surveyed will be shopping this weekend, and most of them will do their shopping online.  Fewer than 15-percent will be heading to the stores on Thanksgiving Day — but almost a quarter of shoppers will be shopping online that day.  Nationwide this weekend, more than 135 million Americans will descend upon stores to take advantage of sales, starting a holiday spending season that’s expected to rake in more than $630 billion.
