Truman State Students March Against Climate Change

Truman State Students and community members in favor of climate change marched from the campus fountain, to the Kirksville Square over the weekend.

The group planned the march to coincide with the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris. The founder of the electricity and petroleum-free Possibility Alliance in La Plata, spoke before the march began, encouraging the crowd to start diaglogues about taking action on climate change. A group of Truman students are urging the university stop using fossil fuels, to stop global warming.
