Iowa Woman Arrested in Schuyler County for Drugs

An Iowa woman has been arrested in Schuyler County on drug charges.

The arrest happened Saturday after the Schuyler County Sheriff noticed a truck parked on a road in the Glenwood Cemetery. The driver, 30-year-old Tanya Nab of Centerville, told him she was waiting on a friend. The sheriff noticed a black box on her lap, Nab said wasn’t hers, and wouldn’t let him take a look inside. The sheriff then ran her licence and learned Nab’s license was suspended and the truck’s plates came up stolen. Nab was placed under arrest, and the contents inside the black box were found to include meth, and two baggies with a white powdery substance. There were also two pill bottles found inside the truck.

Nab was transported to the Adair County jail. She charged with possession with intent to distribute/deliver/manufacture/produce a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and receiving stolen property.
