Arrest Made Following Pursuits in Sullivan County

A police chase in Sullian County yesterday ended in an arrest.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, there was an assault reported at aound 1:30 yesterday morning at a business in Milan on 4th streeet. The responding officer found Jordan Lochman asleep in a parked vehicle. The officer attempted to make contact with Lochman, who took off. The car chase ended after he drove through a park and hit a tree. Lochman ran on foot, and the officer lost him. Later yesterday morning after 10, a Sullivan County sheriff’s deputy saw a man matching Lochman’s driving a 1984 Chevy pick-up northbound on Route OO. Again, there was a pursuit this time ending on Maple Road, after spike strips were deployed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Lochman was arrested on a felony out of Audrain County and a misdemeanor out of Knox County, and is facing additional charges.
