The Governor’s son is sentenced in a DWI case.

Thirty days of home detention and two years unsupervised probation are the penalties for Governor Nixon’s son.  Twenty-five-year-old Wilson Nixon pled guilty yesterday to driving while intoxicated as a prior offender. Nixon was also ordered to complete a Victim Impact Panel within 60 days and complete the Substance Abuse Traffic Offender Program.  He is not allowed to drink or go to a bar and he can only drive if the vehicle is equipped with a special ignition device.
