Drunk Driver Gets Probation

No prison time for a drunk driver who caused a boy to lose his arm.

In Clayton, MO, The mother of five year old Devin Meyer is furious. The drunk driver who plowed into her car — gets no prison time. It was his second offense. The wreck severed her son’s arm. It has been reattached and the boy has limited use of it. Crystal Waller called the justice system a joke. 35 year old Clavin Cosby gets five years probation and can only drive if there’s one of those ignition switches that checks his breath for booze before the car can be cranked. The family is suing Cosby but his insurance won’t pay much, but the court did order Cosby to pay restitution for medical bills.
