A restaurant in Macon was heavily damaged by a fire last night. Officials were called to the fire just before 11 p.m. where heavy smoke was pouring out from the northwest corner of the building that houses AJ’s Eat and Drink. It took Macon Fire crews 45 minutes to put out the blaze which was appears to have started in the section of the building where the restaurant’s croutons are prepared and fried.
