Unemployment in MO Lowest since 2006

Missouri’s unemployment rate has fallen to its lowest level since 2006. According to the state Department of Economic Development, Missouri’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 4.7 percent in November. That’s down three-tenths of a percentage point from October and is the lowest it’s been since April 2006. Missouri’s seasonally adjusted employment rose by 2,200 jobs from October to November. The economic development agency says the largest gains occurred in the construction industry.
