Cause of Restaurant Fire Undetermined

Local and state fire investigators say the fire at AJ’s restaurant is undetermined.

The fire that heavily damaged t AJ’s Eat and Drink in Macon last month is not considered suspicious, and following an investigation, the Missouri State Fire Marshall’s Office have offiically listed the cause of the fire undetermined. The report says they could not eliminate hot grease as a cause of the fire, as fire broke out in the production area of the restaurant where its homemade croutons are prepared and fried. No one was in building when the fire broke out late in the night on December 20th.
