Missouri’s Unemployment Reaches 15-Year Low

Missouri’s unemployment rate continues its downward trend.¬† The December rate fell to four-point-four percent. That’s the lowest it’s been since July 2001, and is lower than the national unemployment average of five percent.¬†Missouri industries that experienced growth last month include: construction with the addition of 2600 jobs, and healthcare and social services with the addition of 2000 jobs.¬†
