MO Lawmakers Trade Punches

Smackdown — two Missouri lawmakers trade punches.

Reprsentative Courtney Curtis got into an argument with Rep. Michael Butler over a right to work bill. It’s a bill that curbs the power of unions. Curtis is for it — Butler against it. The two argued after a union reception at a restaurant in Jefferson city. Curtis says Butler followed him outside and took a swing at him in an alley…so Curtis says he defended himself. Both men are democrats from St. Louis. Curtis took out a restraining oder against Michael Butler and he’s asking the speaker of the house to open an ethics investigation on Butler and to reassign to two so they don’t sit near each other in the state house.
