Troop B Operation CARE During Holiday Weekend

Troop B officers will be participating in Operation C.A.R.E. during the July Fourth holiday weekend. Operation C.A.R.E. (Combined Accident Reduction Effort) is a national traffic enforcement program aimed at making holiday weekends safer. During this enforcement operation, all available troopers will be assigned to patrol Missouri highways, not only to enforce traffic laws, but also to be available in the event motorists experience any type of emergency. Additionally, Troop B officers will be conducting a holiday travel crash reduction effort on U.S. Highways 24, 36, and 63 on July 1st and July 4th. During this enforcement program, additional troopers will be assigned to these heavily traveled roadways in an effort to step up traffic enforcement with a goal of reducing traffic crashes over the holiday weekend.
