China Donated to Kirksville Arts

Kirksville Arts has new china thanks to a donation.

All of Kirksville Arts kitchen items were lost the fire that destroyed the Arts Center in December. A collector of Fiesta dishes wrote a letter to the president of Homer Laughlin Company, explaining what had happened. After reading the story, the company donated 60 dinner plates, salad plates and bowls to Kirksville Arts. The boxes of dishes were delivered this week. Homer Laughlin, based in West Virginia, is the only manufacturer of china still producing the Fiesta dishes in the United States, and Kirksville Arts members say they are thrilled with the generous donation from the company.
