Agriculture Professionals to Tour Missouri

The Missouri state veterinarian will be among several speakers traveling through Missouri during the entire month of March. Trevor Smith has more.

Linda Hickam and many other agriculture professionals will be part of the one-day workshops across aimed at helping residents understand disease outbreak among animals. The Missouri Department of Agriculture will run the workshops that will discuss topics ranging the economic impact of agriculture to livestock mortality. The meeting, titled “Preventing and Responding to Disease Outbreak” will be in Kirksville March 24 at Missouri Department of Conservation Northeast Regional Office. It runs from 9:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m and preregistration is required.
