Teen Dies in Crash Near Shelbina

A teenager has died in a crash near Shelbina. The crash happened about 3:15 Tuesday afternoon on U-S Highway 36. 18-year-old McKenzie Craigg, of Clarence, was a passenger in a car driven by 23-year-old Keith Bond, of Palmyra. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Bond traveled off the right side of the roadway where the car overturned. Craig died at the scene after being ejected from the car. Bond received moderate injuries, as did another passenger. Missouri State Highway Patrol, Shelby County Sheriff’s Department, Shelbina Police Department, Shelbina Fire and Rescue, and Salt River Ambulance all assisted on scene.
