Weekend Winter Weather Cause Crashes

There were several crashes reported in Northeast Missouri following the weekend’s winter weather…Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop B said they responded to over 120 calls since Saturday. In one of the crashes, two people were taken to the hospital after a woman drove her car into the back of a MoDOT snow plow early yesterday morning in Marion County. According to the crash report, 25-year-old Stella Balden of Nashville, Tennessee was heading north bound and ran into the back of the truck while it was clearing Highway 61. The drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital. Balden had moderate injuries, while the snow plow driver received minor injuries.
