Edina Police Follow Up On Leads Of Card Skimmer Suspects

Edina Police are following up on leads after releasing photos of individuals believed to be involved in an incident where card skimmers were found at a Northeast Missouri gas station. The card skimmers, which steal credit/debit card information when people pay at the pump, were discovered last Tuesday evening in two machines at the Yesway gas station in Edina.The photos obtained by police show two male suspects allegedly using stolen credit card information to make purchases. Police Chief Ryan Bishop says fraudulent transactions with the skimmed cards have been reported at several locations in Missouri including in Kirksville. There have been no arrests yet in the case.
