Governor Parson Launches Reelection Campaign

Governor Mike Parson has officially launched his reelection campaign for the 2020 gubernatorial election. The 63-year-old was elected Lieutenant Governor in 2016 and became Governor when Eric Grietens resigned in 2017. Missouri Auditor Nicole Galloway, a Democrat, announced her run for governor last month. Also running as a democrat is La’Ondrill Brown, a French teacher. Parson faces at least one challenger in the Republican primary: State Rep. Jim Neely.
