KPD Investigating Armed Robbery At Casey’s General Store

Kirksville Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at Casey’s General Store on South Franklin Street. According to employees, the robbery occurred just after 10 Monday night. They told police a man entered the store displaying a handgun and demanded money from the register. The cashier provided the suspect with an undisclosed amount of cash, and he left the business, southbound on foot. No one was injured during the course of the robbery. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’ tall, skinny build, wearing a dark colored hooded jacket with blue hooded sweatshirt underneath, dark colored pants and tennis shoes.
