Small Business Saturday Upcoming Kirksville Holiday Events

Tomorrow will be Small Business Saturday across the country, and the City of Kirksville encourages you to stay local and “Shop Small.” Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses and communities across the country. Founded by American Express in 2010, and promoted through the social media hashtag #SmallBusinessSaturday, this day is celebrated each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. American consumers have reported spending more than $85 billion at independent retailers and restaurants through this event. In Kirksville you can take part in the Shop Small Cookie Crawl where you will get a Shop Small bag and cookies as you visit participating local, downtown businesses. The event begins at 10:00am tomorrow and lasts until the cookies run out. See more details online from Main Street Kirksville at: facebook.com/downtownkirksville
