Shelby County Recognized for Zero Fatalities in 2019

Shelby County was recognized yesterday for ZERO fatalities in 2019! This was the second year in a row for that achievement. They were recognized by the NE Coalition for Roadway Safety for the “On the Road to Zero” program. Several safety partners were in attendance at the county commission meeting including the Missouri State Highway Patrol, North Shelby and South Shelby Schools, Mark Twain Regional Council of Government, Shelby County Health Department, and the Missouri Department of Transportation, and more. Shelby County is one of three counties in northeast Missouri who had zero fatalities on Missouri roads last year.
