Faith Lutheran School Hires Interim School Director

Faith Lutheran School , a ministry of Faith Lutheran Church in Kirksville, has announced the hiring of Mr. Marty Archer as Interim School Director. With the pending retirement of Mrs. Janie Fouch who has served FLS for over 35 years, Faith Lutheran Church began searching for a replacement in the past year. Mr. Archer will assume his responsibilities on August 1st. Archer graduated from Truman State in 1985 with a Bachelor’s of Science and then earned a Masters of Education in Administration from William Wood University in 2012. For the past 2 years he has been the physical education and social studies teacher at FLS. Prior teaching experience includes Macon R-1 Middle School, Schuyler R-1 High School, Lakeland R-3, Osborn High School, and Wheeling School District. From 1995-2008 he co-founded and performed with the Living Sacrifice Gospel Quartet. He and wife, Lisa who is employed at ATSU, are members of First Baptist Church and live northeast of Kirksville.
