Adair county closed the week on Friday with another 40 cases of Covid 19.
That goes with 130 cases in the previous three days last week. The youngest reported case on Friday, a 10 month old boy. And 35 cases reported last week were in people who had been vaccinated.
Hospitals feeling the affects of the surge. The number of people in the hospital with Covid in Missouri continues to climb. On Friday, 3,235 people were hospitalized with the virus statewide — beating the prior record — and leaving only about 15% of the state’s hospital beds available.
