A bust in Kirksville lands an O’Fallon man in jail. David Stewart was in the Adair County Jail on a 25 thousand dollar cash only bond following a traffic stop last week. Police here in Kirksville made a routine traffic stop on Friday night and found drugs and paraphernalia on the man. Police found both meth, marijuana and a syringe on the 45 year old Stewart. Since Missouri law allows for those on probation to be searched without a warrant, that’s what police did with Stewart. Stewart now faces several drug related felony and misdemeanor charges.
