Luetkemeyer is making several stops in the ninth district during the Wednesday – Friday tour. He will meet with the Kirksville Rotary Club at the Church of the Nazarene, and host a Business Roundtable at the Kirksville Chamber of Commerce.
Wi-Fi Sensors officials have deferred on a visit from Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer. The congressman’s “Show-Me Small Business Jobs Tour” was supposed to include a stop at Wi-Fi Sensors tomorrow. Instead, He’ll visit Ortech. Some items from last week’s news may help explain: you’ll remember at mid week reports surfaced that Wi-Fi was selling its building. While that is a fact, some reporting in town left out the company’s intent to lease back the facility. Ortech was the recipient of some good news last week, in the form of more federal money being released to help former employees of the plant and auto manufacturers in St. Louis receive extended work placement benefits. The congressman’s office say Wi-Fi who asked for the location of his stop here to be changed.
