When classes begin Thursday, Truman State University will have its largest enrollment in five years. Over the weekend, Truman welcomed more than 1,400 new freshmen to campus and the Kirksville community. That was nearly a 6 percent increase from the previous year, and as a result, campus residence halls are at full capacity. Truman’s multi-year construction program has led to renovation of many of Truman’s residence halls and campus apartments. The total enrollment for the start of the 2010-2011 school year is nearly 5,900 students.
