Coleman says the blaze began in the engine compartment and the motor coach suffered significant fire, water and smoke damage. Firefighters were not able to determine what started the blaze, but Coleman said it was not suspicious. Sheriff’s department investigators removed some materials form the motor home, but have not yet said what was taken or why.
Two people had to be rescued by firefighters after a blaze broke out in a motor coach in Bevier Sunday afternoon. Fire Chief David Coleman says two people were trapped inside when crews arived, but that both were rescued and their injuries were minor enough to only need on-scene treatment.
