It’s controversial…but cost-effective. Police in St. Louis arethinking about using drones for surveillance.
Police chief Sam Dotson knows people worry about privacy with an eye in the sky. He told KMOX “these are not sinisiter things that crawl up the side of your house and peer in your windows. Dotson said the drones would keep an eye on public places and be used in pursuites. A drone is about $30,000 while a police helicopter is well over a million dollars.
