The World Series is coming to St. Louis later this week… and with it… increased security. During a security briefing in downtown St. Louis yesterday, Police Chief Sam Dotson met with state and federal law enforcement agencies, to draft a security plan for the World Series games. Officials from Major League Baseball and the St. Louis Cardinals also were there. Officials say there is no known terrorist threat targeting either city in the best-of-seven World Series between the Cardinals and the Boston Red Sox. But Dotson said law enforcement agencies want to be prepared for any possibility.
