Truman State University is receiving a grant for furthering agriculture education. The money comes from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and Truman State will be receiving a total of $70-thousand over the course of 3 years. TSU is one of five Missouri colleges to receive the grant. It will allow students in the Agricultural Sciences program to receive a broader education through the use of online instruction and two-way video feeds with other participating universities. Southwest Missouri State, the University of Central Missouri, Missouri State, and Northwest Missouri State University are the other four schools receiving the grant.
