A crash Friday morning on Highway 11 east of Kirksville sent one person to the hospital. Missouri State Highway Patrol reports indicate 65-year old Judith Sharp was westbound on Highway 11, about 7:45am Friday, in a 2005 Toyota Corolla. Troopers say she fell asleep. The car ran off the south side of the road, waking her up, and she overcorrected. The car zipped back across the road, off the north edge and hit a highway sign, then overturned. Sharp was alone in the car; she was taken by Adair County Ambulance crews to Northeast Regional with moderate injuries.
