Attorney General Chris Koster was in town yesterday. Koster toured Truman State University and met with business leaders concerning economic development. During an appearance last night at the Shrine Club, Koster discussed the spike in propane prices and how it has hurt the state and families this winter. His office is looking into the price spike and how much inventories and exports affected price speculation that has occurred this winter. His report to the state Senate will seek to give the Legislature some options on how to deal with prices going forward. Koster says he should have a final report on the investigation soon.
