Final Vote on 2019 Budget to be Held Dec 17

The 2019 budget for Kirksville is just one vote away from being passed. This week, the Kirksville City Council approved the budget on the first reading. Expenditures are approximately $45.9 million, up from about $38.3 million in 2018. Around 43-percent of the money will go towards capital improvements projects, including improvements to city streets and the construction of the new aquatic center.
