Missouri State Auditor Nicole Galloway announced on Friday that she won’t run for re-election in 2022.Galloway said serving Missourians has been the honor of her life. She also said that during this past decade, she’s missed countless family events, little league games and school activites. Galloway says she is ready for the next chapter of service and life with her family. Galloway was appointed auditor by Governor Jay Nixon in 2015 and won a full term in office in 2018. She lost in a run for Governor in 2020 against Mike Parson. Galloway is the only Democrat to currently hold a statewide office in Missouri.
