The Adair County Health Department is holding a drive-through flu vaccine clinic today from from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the NEMO Fairgrounds for residents ages 3 and older. The regular and high-dose vaccines will be administered on a first-come, first-serve basis. High-dose flu vaccines are recommended for those ages 65 and older. No registration is required for flu vaccines, and shots are free for Adair County residents. Medicare and Medicaid/MO HealthNet beneficiaries are asked to bring their insurance cards with them. Those going to the flu vaccine drive-through should visit the Health Department website and click on “Forms” in the upper right corner of the home page. You are encouraged to print out and complete the Flu Clinic Screening and Consent Form and bring it with you to the to minimize wait times. Face masks are required, and short-sleeved or loose-fitting shirts are recommended.
