The Adair County health dept says covid cases are going up. Nine new cases confirmed in the county
yesterday — meaning 38 active cases right now…the highest since Oct. 8th.
The nine newly confirmed cases involve females ages 3, 70 and 84, and males ages 7, 17, 24, 25, 61 and 62. Two cases are in the K-12 schools, one is in local universities, and three are breakthrough infections in people who are vaxxed.
From Oct. 30 through Nov. 5, 69% of the cases are in people 30 and younger, 52% were females and 48% were males. One-third were in the K-12 schools. Adair County is in the substantial category when it comes to transmission of COVID-19.
