Covid-count in Adair County: Seven new cases reported Tuesday. That brings the total of active cases at the moment to 30. The youngest to get the virus in this latest group — a 3 month old boy — as well as a 2 year old boy and a 7 year old boy. The oldest with the virus, an 80 year old man. Since the pandemic started, there’s been 3,683 cases in the county, and nearly all recovered.
The Adair County Health Department recommends that all county residents ages 12 and older get vaccinated against COVID-19 and the Delta variant. Though two of the current cases involve people who got the virus even fully vaccinated.
