The Kirksville RIII school board will get two new members, but voters will not have a say in the matter.
Mikey Bishop and Julie James-Sneddon filed to run for two open seats on the board, but no other candidates filed. So, no need for an election. Bishop and James-Sneddon will be sworn-in.
They will replace Gayla McHenry and John McConnell who were up for re-election this year, but both decided not to run again.
