Missouri Gets Millions In Pain Pill Settlement

Missouri gets a piece of the action in that national lawsuit involving pain pills being improperly marketed by drug companies.

The state wil get about 458 million from Johnsons & Johnson and three other companies. The state attorney general’s office says taht 60% of the money will go to the state and 40% will go to local governments.

Much of the money to be given as grants to non-profits and other agencies that treat people addicted to opioids.
